As Canada’s largest and most popular job site, Workopolis has been helping Canadians find jobs and connecting employers with high quality candidates since 2000. Which is about the length of time the poor elf featured in this holiday tale has spent being shuffled from one shelf to another year after year. And as you'll see, she’s definitely ready for a change.

Produced by Zulubot (Zulu Alpha Kilo’s in-house content division), the heart-warming video features a holiday Elf who’s grown tired of her annual shelf sitting duties. This year however, thanks to a serendipitous tumble off the shelf and Workopolis’ vast array of job listings, she's about to find the career she was really born to do. No magic required.

Pulling this one off was a labour of love for the small team of creatives involved – myself, my art director partner, our producer and our in-house director/dop/editor. With the exception of our custom made Elf puppet and custom score from a musician friend – everything needed for else from props and set design to lighting, camera rigging and coffee getting was done
